Chickpeas croquettes. This is a famous dish that can be served anytime of the day. Comes with lettuce, tomatoes and Feta cheese. Rapped in Tortilla to make a healthy tasty Sandwich.
Layers of Fillo sheets spread with ghea and butter, filled with crunched nuts (peanuts, cashew nuts, and pistachios). Baked and sweetened with syrup. This is a well-known dessert in Sudan and the Middle East.
Milk, fresh cream, and starch are used to make a pudding-like desert. A layer of biscuits is added for a sweet twist of the original mild version.
Date fruit is made into thick porridge and flavored with cardamom powder. Since dates is naturally sweet, no sugar is added.
Flour dumplings. This is the traditional Sudanese version of donuts. Usually served with honey or sugar powder, or my favorite way with dates porridge. A perfect combination!
Arabian coffee with the traditional spices (ginger, cardamom, and cloves). Alternatively for guests who do not like coffee, cardamom tea is served.
